Q:

Are all of your products vegan?

A:

No. While we do use the best ingredients available to us not all of our products are vegan. If the product is vegan it will be indicated in the description and/or on the label.

Q:

Do you use organic ingredients?

A:

Yes, we do use some organic ingredients. Organic ingredients will be indicated on the product listing.

Q: Are your products natural?
A:

This is a touchy subject. Natural means different things to different people.  Our products are made with natural and/or synthetic ingredients. All ingredients will be listed on the website and the label.

Q:

How will you keep my body butter from melting?

A:

Most of our products are temperature sensitive therefore we try our best to make sure the products are in the same perfect shape as they are when we send them to you. In the summer months we use thermal packaging and try not to ship over the weekend so that the products are not sitting in a hot warehouse/shipping hub for days before they get to you. In most cases simply pop the container in the refrigerator or freezer for a couple of hours.

Q:

When will my order be processed?

A:

We process orders Monday-Wednesday (during the summer months, see explanation above) excluding holidays. During the winter months orders are processed Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.

Q:

How can I find the status of my order?

A:

You will receive an email once your order has been processed and ready to ship. You can begin tracking it to see when the carrier has received it. You can also log into your account on our website and check the status.

Q:

How much is shipping?

A:

Shipping prices are high right now for everyone but we are trying to keep the costs low for our customers. We only charge $8 flat rate fee for shipping which means that you get a discounted shipping rate and we cover the balance. We also offer FREE SHIPPING for orders over $100.

What shipping carriers do you use?

A:

We use either USPS or UPS. Whichever carrier can get your products to you the fastest in the safest, most cost-efficient way possible.

Q:

Why is my product not filled to the top?

A:

Our products are filled by weight. Therefore, the container may not be filled to the rim it will be filled to the weight listed on the container. We do try sometimes to fill them to the rim but as a small business we have to be cost-conscious of our products and account for every ounce that we sell.

Q: Why can't I smell anything from this Car Perfume thing?
A: First, you must remove the stopper from the top of the glass container. Once you remove the stopper replace the lid but don't screw it too tightly. You can then turn the bottle over for 1-2 seconds so that the liquid in the bottle can saturate the wood in the cap. Periodically, you will need to turn it over so that the wood can be saturated with the fragrance.
Q: Can I send my order as a gift?
A:

Yes, you can! Each product listing has a check box that says add gift options. You can check this box to:

  1. Add a gift MESSAGE. Check the message box then type in your message. Your message will be included on our company branded card.
  2. Add GIFT WRAP. Check the box to add gift wrapping. You will be charged $3.99 to add the gift wrapping option. At this time you can only select gift wrap and the item will be gift wrapped in our choice of wrapping options. We may add the option to select different types of wrapping but at this time we only have one gift wrapping option (trust me, it will look nice). 
  3. Gift Receipt. All orders are packed with a packing slip that only details the order contents. No prices are shown on this packing slip. The email you received after you placed your order is your receipt.
Q:

Can my order be delivered to an address that is not the same as my credit card billing address?

A:

Yes, it can. Simply enter in the delivery address where you would like your order to be delivered. You are responsible for making sure this address is correct. Once your order is processed the delivery address cannot be changed.

Q: Why is my soap turning brown?
A: This is most likely due to the amount of vanillin in the fragrance. Vanilla fragrances almost always discolor the product eventually. This does not mean that the product has gone bad. The product is still good its just vanillin, even a small percentage, can make the final product change colors.
Q: Why is my lotion turning yellow or brown?
A: Same answer as above. Because there is likely vanillin in the fragrance oil.
Q: Why does my product smell funny?
A: If it smells funny throw it out. Our products are handmade under the most sanitary conditions possible but some ingredients to not have a long homemade shelf life. With that said....when in doubt, throw it out.
Q: Why is my product grainy?
A: Products like shea butter, mango butter, kokum butter and cocoa butter can crystalize after a while due to temperature changes of the product. It has nothing to do with the quality of your product.
